We Couldn’t Let the Kids Show Us Up
We joke that our home is the House of Good Intentions (HOGI, for short), because we mean well, but don’t always accomplish what we set out to do. Challenging the kids to research our trip and present what they learned back to us proved to be a great way to get them engaged and excited about our trip. But it also created pressure on Sherpa Momma and I to match the high bar they set with their presentations. We’re procrastinators, but we got it done.
Sherpa Momma is Really Excited about Iceland
I’ll be honest. I wasn’t that keen on this Disney Cruise itinerary, but Sherpa Momma has gotten us all very excited. I just hope the weather cooperates so we can fully experience all the natural wonders we’ll see in Iceland and Norway.
Looking to Hike and Lollygag our Way through Italy
We’ll be on the go quite a bit on this trip. There’s just so much to see, especially in Italy. Luckily, we have a 2-week break in the middle of it where we’ll be in one place. But we’re still covering a lot of ground in Italy, from the Dolmites to the Cinque Terre to Tuscany and Umbria to the Amalfi Coast, and of course, Rome.
