Have You Ever Hugged a Cactus?
It’s a BEAUTIFUL day in the Cinque Terre to go hiking. You go to the train station to get to one of the fve villages. You think it’s going to be so fun. But for me, well, it wasn’t that much fun when we got started. Let me tell you why.
So I’m on the train from Levanto to Corniglia. And then we had to walk up 385 steps to get to the village from the train station. I was leading the whole family. Macy was right behind me, telling me to slow down. It was very tiring but I kept on going. When I was looking at the view and walking at the same time, I fell into something prickly: a cactus! When we got to the top, I wanted to take a look. And there were prickly spikes all over me! The lesson I learned is that you should always stop walking when you’re looking at a view. Luckily, by the next day, I had gotten all the spikes out
