Driving the Boat
It was our first day on the boat. We drive around. Then something amazing happened! Enzo (the owner/captain) asked me to drive the boat! That sounded so fun to me I almost jumped right out of my skin! For once, I actually felt important. It was really fun. I did it two times. Look below to hear what I did.
August 3
When I drove the boat, we were driving to an island to swim. It was really fun. I made the boat rock a couple times. Enzo said I was really good! I thought I was bad. But maybe I was wrong!
August 4
In the morning I drove the boat from Amalfi to Nerano. In the middle of the day I drove a tiny bit. I took over for Kaitlin for a few minutes. Then I took over for Nicola (who took over for Enzo after the first night). It was SO fun.
Now I’m thinking of getting a boat when I’m older! Driving the boat was fun! You should try!
The depth and speed and compass are my favorite instruments. It was really interesting looking at the compass, telling you which direction you’re going. The depth, telling you how deep it is. The speed, telling you how fast you’re going. All these stats, it must be fun driving a boat every day!
