I Like Goat Cheese
It’s a nice day in Umbria and we travel to Orvieto. It’s going to be so fun! For me, the 2nd part was very fun. We went… GOAT CHEESE TASTING! We started by getting a tour around the farm. There were chickens and roosters everywhere. We also saw a LOT of goats. We also saw a chicken playing with her three baby chicks. It was so cute. Then we went to see the baby goats. They were a little cute! Then we went to see some horses. It was so cool! Then we saw this very old goat, with 2 really big horns.
After the tour, we went into a small house to taste some goat cheese. We started by having some bread. I figured out that bread with honey is very good. The first cheese was kinda creamy. It was good. It even had a raspberry on top. The next cheese I had was bad. But with honey and bread it was amazing! There was still more to come. The next cheese I had was was a cheese with ashes. I didn’t like it that much. There was one that was VERY strong. There were also 2 or 3 other strong ones. But my favorite one was the first one .Then we had dessert. It was like yogurt. It was very good! We talked a little more then we went. That ended our fabulous goat cheese tasting!
P.S. All in all, I tasted 18 out of 18 cheeses! For more pictures of our goat cheese tasting experience, see the album on our Facebook page.
